- Ordnance inspection marks (A, R, S) on metal parts (U.S. Ordnance Department / military inspectors)

- Grips internally marked RS (original factory-fitted pair), dark wood (correct for Remington military grips)

- Octagonal barrel with rifling still sharp and well defined
