- Revolver, CH Ord. Revolver 1872/78, Pirlot Frères Liege, Cal. 10.4 mm CF.
- Walnut stock with fishskin cut-out, fitted with a strap ring.
- On the left side of the frame, in front of the barrel, the company inscription "Pirlot Frères, Liege" is stamped.
- On the right-hand side of the frame is the oval hallmark with the letters "CDS".
- The barrel and Le Barillet bear the stamp of the Federal Receiving Agent, Cross over "B" in the oval.
- The hammer is higher for the central percussion.
- Notches are cut into the cylinder.
- A spring is fitted to the loading door
- The foot of the loading door spring engages in each detent to successively stop each chamber in front of the loading aperture and the ramrod.
