Spanish Air Force Mauser carbine, model 1944, manufactured between 1944 and 1957.
This is the Air Force version of the Spanish M43 carbine, which was itself the Spanish version of the famous German K98.
The Air Force model differs from the standard M43 in that it has a rear sling swivel recessed into the stock and, most notably, front and rear sights.
