SMG CZ Scorpion VZ61

The vz.61, chambered in 7.65 mm Browning caliber, represents the first generation of the "Skorpion" machine pistol produced by the Czech firm CZ and adopted by Czechoslovakia in 1961.

Featuring a pressed-plate breech housing and a skeleton stock that folds onto the top of the weapon, it is compact, lightweight and particularly easy to conceal.

Fueled by high-capacity magazines, it fired an ammunition whose modest power was perfectly suited to certain situations where over-penetration of projectiles was a danger.
