Wartime commercial models are in the 290000-440000 range.
Armament lever with a different number, all other numbers match.
Proof of "U" crown on left side of breech box and on top of charging handle.
The words "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF/N" appear on the top of the chamber, and the words "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A.NECKAR" on the right-hand side, at the rear of the action.

This is the model with the most advanced features ever fitted to the latest C 96 series.
A small ring hammer, the hammer must be brought beyond the cocked position to engage the safety.
The word NS (Neues Sicherung or New Safety) appears on the rear of the hammer.
Heavier breech and reinforced recuperator spring.
2-pin firing pin.
Integral clip-fed ten-round magazine.
The barrel bore is in mint condition. Gauged Ø7.63 with 6 fine rifling marks.
Round barrel with front sight and rear sight adjustable from 50 to 1,000 meters.

The gun comes with a wooden case and a stock without number that fits perfectly.
The gun comes with a leather case and the words "A.PH.HOFFMANN BERLIN 1916".
