Pistol 1900/06 W+F (06/24) 17xxx (1921)

The 1900/06 W+F pistol is also known, probably incorrectly, as the "06/24 pistol".

Production at W+F in Berne began as early as 1918, and the designation 06/18 would actually be more appropriate.

The 1900/06 W+F pistol (06/24 pistol) was produced by the Federal Weapons Factory in Berne (W+F), as Germany was no longer able to produce and supply weapons to third countries during and after the First World War. 

From 1914 to 1918, W+F designed and manufactured machines capable of producing parts for the 1906 pistol.

In 1918 and 1919, the first pistols were delivered by W+F.

The Pistole 1900/06 W+F (Pistole 06/24) is identical in construction to the Pistole 1900/06 DWM from DWM production.

It bears the inscription "Waffenfabrik Bern" on the breech.

Between November 1918 and May 1933, a total of 17,874 Pistole 1900/06 W+F (Pistole 06/24) pistols (numbers 15,216 to 33,089) were produced and delivered.
