Pistol 1900/06 DWM 98xx (Variant 2)

Pistol 1900/06 DWM :

Production for a total of 10'214, took place between 1906 and 1914. Serial numbers start at 5'001 and end at 15'215 ;

- 4'050 first model (from 5'001 to 9050) featured a Swiss cross with a radiating crown on the upper part of the chamber.

- 6'165 second model (from 9'051 to 15215) had a Swiss cross in the shield. 

Manufacture was carried out by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabrik (DWM) on behalf of Switzerland.

Finished pistols or sets of parts were delivered in part ;

but there were also deliveries of ready-to-use parts, which were then numbered, burnished and assembled at W+F in Bern.
