- 4,050 first model pistols (5,001–9,050) featured a Swiss cross with a radiating crown on top of the chamber.
- 6,165 second model pistols (9,051–15,215) bore a Swiss cross within a shield.
Manufactured by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) under contract for Switzerland.
