Historical Background :
The CZ38 pistols were originally designed as the new service pistol for the Czechoslovak Army. After the German occupation of 1939, they were adopted by the Wehrmacht under the designation P39(t).
A portion of these pistols was later transferred to Finland, which received approximately 1,700–1,800 examples between 1941 and 1942. Upon entering Finnish military inventory, the pistols were marked “SA” and saw service during the Continuation War (1941–1944) against the Soviet Union.
