With post-WW2 canvas holster.

- This Victory revolver, serial number V 35### (1st series manufactured between April and June 1942).
- The absence of British markings and the presence of American markings (“US Government Property,” “flaming bomb” stamp) suggest that it was intended for the American armed forces, probably the US Navy.
- The .38 S&W chamber (rather than .38 Special) is consistent with the initial American orders.

No traces or marks from firing & mirror barrel.
